Engine Services

As well as building and servicing complete engines, we also carry out work on individual components when required. We routinely machine cylinder heads, improve carburetors, service distributors and provide ignition systems for customers that do not require a full engine rebuild.

Carburetors

As well as providing a complete carburetor overhaul service, we are also extremely proud of the modifications and improvements we can carry out, vastly improving low end responsiveness and drive-ability to a carburetor equipped engine.

Distributors

Modifications to distributor advance curves, as well as converting traditional points to electronic ignition is routine for us here at Jondel. Every distributor is stripped, cleaned, modified and tested on our own ‘Sun’ testing machine.

Ignition Systems

An engine is only as good as its ignition system, and we have countless years of experience in dyno cells, rolling road sessions and real world races developing, testing and improving various electronic ignition systems.

Cylinder Head Machining

Cylinder head porting and machine work can be a fine art more than a science, and Peter has nearly 40 years experience in this field. Our hand fettled heads can be found on anything from BDG powered escorts, to V6 powered Ferrari 308s and Porsche 911s.
